    Transit of Venus Pictures

Start practicing your photography now to prepare for the transit of Venus on the afternoon of June 5th. Sunspots are numerous at the moment and make great practice targets to photograph. I am having good luck using dual linear polarizers adjusted off the maximum on a 200 mm prime lens set manually to Raw, f22. ISO 100, 1/4000 sec, infinite focus. Improve the image in the electronic dark room with some trial and error adjusting of exposure, contrast, color, sharpness, noise, shadow, etc. See attachment for today's trio of sunspots.
