    Transit, or the U.S. Navy Navigation Satellite System (NNSS) was
    decommissioned in 1996. However, the system was converted over to the Navy
    Ionospheric Monitoring System (NIMS). The satellites continue to transmit
    their 150 and 400 MHz signals albeit with a different "proprietary" signal
