Hey Gary,
I am currently in London Heathrow after a 12.5 hour A340 flight last night from Mauritius.
In my computer, I do not advance LOP's but I compute each DR for each observation, then from any final position I am using the various "stored" intercepts and azimuths corresponding to each observation (the method #1 indicated by Greg). Computation wise, it is way easier than advancing LOP's themselves (I have done both ...) and final result is as accurate as you could wish.
Thank you for your very kind invitation for dinner, but alas, with Air Mauritius, we have no Atlantic crossing flights.
Best Regards
Kermit
