I first used this with the RUDE on a ship above the Artic Circle for a direction antenna in the 60ths. Use the Rude to try a few problem at your location, you may find it pretty quick and near accurate. all you need is the base, Horizon and the red plotter. My diagram #4 move off the reading and correct place, the reading for course 069 and distance 3240 was my small dot before making the print. the fingers of GC show where the circle is most advantagious and where they are not.
