yes I know how to get tan on my current Fuller 2 by sin/cos, but figured if there is room for a tan scale, it would save that extra division.
However, I think there is an argument for keeping it simple.
My initial prototype will probably take the quick and easy short cut of replacing the largely unemployed outermost curser tube on the current mini fuller with a transparent curser doubling by carrying a sin/cos scale. I can test drive the principle this way and develope a definitive design.
