    Dear Frank,

Thank you for giving us a nice number crunching opportunity !

From your data, I can compute a position (standard LOP's) as being N41°29'0 and W071°20'0.

From this position I google earthed a (more) probable position for you (on a car parking) being 41°27'1 and W071°24'0

Then from your data, if we assume that both car parking position and UT are correct, you should have observed a sextant distance of 49°18'838. This case is rated by your Computer as *** Error in Lunar 0'05 with Error in Longitude 1'5 ***

On the other hand, if we assume that both position and Sextant Distance are correct, then UT should be equal to 22h09m35s3. Such a case is also rated rated as *** Error in Lunar 0'05 with Error in Longitude 1'4 *** by your Computer.

Finally if we make the best use of all data, we find that position is N41°29'1 W071°19'4, with A Lunar Distance equal to 49°18'80 and UT = 22h09m39s4. Again such case is rated by your Computer as *** Error in Lunar 0'05 with Error in Longitude 1'4 ***

Thanks again for an opportunity to compute Lunars,

    Kermit

    Antoine M. "Kermit" Couëtte
