Robin and Frank thank you for your replies which have claified the events for me. I have added Close to my pdf collection.
I note that the actual position of the Endurance is secret. Presumably it will remain so for as long as is possible. Will it be possible to protect the wreck from vandals? The photo of the wheel on the poop deck is amazing. I suspect (unfortunately) that some groups are already planning to recover the wheel and other items.
