    Thanks for the comments. Agreed! And yes, only one system on the ship at a time.

    The reason for making this diagram is to see the alignment because we had been talking about time-sight 'scraps' and earlier, lunar decoding. I find that getting the time system right, and in some cases, the small corrections being made to declination right to be my biggest stumbling block. I usually get Local Time right. So I fiddle and fiddle till I get something that looks credable.
