Did I write GPS?  Typo. Should have been LDPW (large digital pocket watch).
It does spit out information other than the time, but that is of no use as I
have a sextant and the sky in Indiana is always clear. 

I do admit that using the sextant when bushwhacking causes my driving to be
quite erratic at highway speeds. Perhaps I will get better with practice.
Do you think a whole-horizon mirror would help?
