The link I sent before is for Julian Barbour's site. He is a British mathematician and physicist, who thinks that we are asking the wrong question. He thinks time as we undestand it doesn't really exist, and makes a pretty persuasive argument. Not only that, if he is correct it would tie into and help explain much more, such as what is quantem non-locality (IE instant effects) and why does the so called 'arrow of time move' in the direction it does, as well as maybe explaining what gravity is. Perhaps the reason nobody knows what time is is because it isn't!-Ken
