    I haven't seen a reply...so.
    
    You navigate by  Universal Time (GMT, etc) and Zone Time. The "Standard
    Time Zones" are political. The are based on the 180 degrees divided by
    15, for the prime meridians, But there is a lot of political
    gerrymandering of the lines and times. You would use it to check your
    local arrival time. Otherwise use Zone Time. Or better yet navigate
    using UT/GMT.
    
    Just remember that the zones are every 15 degrees and extend 7.5
    degrees either side of the zone meridian.
    
    >I just happened to look in a old World Atlas at a map giving the World
