Oh please, oh please, can't we all just use UT for all of our sights? Record them and report them all in UT. Forget you ever heard of time zones.
Thanks. An easy solution to the problem. I have changed the Clocksync app settings and it is now displaying UTC. One less (error prone) step when I am working a sight.
I have a daylight saving problem with my camera. I never remember to change the date when daylight saving begins/ends. Therefore if I look at a photo taken a few years ago the exif time could be wrong by +-1 hour. I have adopted an easy solution. Before taking photos where time is relevant I first photograph my wristwatch. The ambiguity is eliminated! It also gives me an offset to correct exif time to the nearest minute (should that be necessary).
