I will be showing my age but I have never used a GPS to drive. When I travaled overseas and when I lived in Japan they were not avaible. Maps were the only way.
I have had a GPS since the 1990's but to this day I only use them to get the Lat. and Long. then plot the point on a map. The same when I do cel-nav. Old habits are hard to break.
