    written by a real person, right? What message are you sending to  that person??
    It's not just some lost bit of Internet noise. It was a real  question from a
    real human being. And it is NOT the only post that has failed to  distribute
    properly.

    If he  wants to, sure, why not. I said so in the first message on this
    subject.
    
    List owners (of unmoderated lists) have essentially no power. But they  do
    have some work to do, and Dan has already said that he's not "married to it"
    and wouldn't mind a small group of managers.
    
    A majority of this list's  active members have already signed up for NavList
    on google. Why continue with  something that's broken on "some guy's" server?
    Why continue with a list archive  on "some other guy's" server when that
    archive has gaping holes in it?
