I'll address this to anyone else reading along since presumably John cannot see this directly. John is signed up properly, receiving "html" messages by email, and there have been no bounced messages. For John and anyone else using gmail, I recommend scrolling down the "control panel" in gmail (it's that list on the left under "Inbox" in the standard setup) until you find "All Mail". This will display everything you have ever received. It is possible that whole categories of emails may get accidentally shunted to some special folder or "label" or even marked as spam. Gmail kindly hides messages from you if you're not careful.

In the meantime, I suggest popping over to the NavList message boards at http://fer3.com/arc. It avoids all these email problems.

PS: I will send an email from another account to confirm this with John Huth, and if anyone else wants to help John out, please contact him by email (using the "Reply-to-Author" option if you don't know his email address). If he's not receiving NavList messages, then sending him NavList messages explaining that he should be receiving NavList messages... well, you see the problem. :)
