I also have an NC-2. I use it at sea quite a bit. When I was a watch stander, I would use it every hour to determine CMG/SMG by doing a sailing on the calculator between the two hourly fixes. I have also used it for "semi-automatic" reductions. I use the almanac for the first part of the reduction and use the NC-2 for the spherical trig section.
The 4-bit processor is pretty slow, but it has a neat display and is fun to use. Battery life is also pretty good.
I am glad you are still using it!
