    Tall Ships - interesting site

    Tall Ships

In the age of nuclear powered submarines and aircraft carriers, the tall
ship is still flying three sheets in the wind. As you might expect, some
of these massive, masted sailing vessels have been restored for pleasure
cruises. Others are kept by corporations as Victorian industrialists might
have kept an exquisite consort. But at this Tall Ships International
Magazine sponsored site, read about newer applications, such as teaching
corporate management teams cooperative skills. Chartered youth group crews
learn confidence, self-reliance and leadership skills. Profiles of 13
operational ships give each unique story, often involving a period of hard
luck or disrepair and triumphant restoration.
