    I was out at the beach at Channel Islands yesterday trying out Greg's Kamal and comparing the readings with my SNO-T but I didn't see anybody else there with a sextant but I did get some questions from passers-by.

    Really?! Wow. I NEVER see people practicing with sextants. Today was the first time in ten years I've bumped into someone else with a sextant apart from groups that I've organized or helped organize.
