I will most likely be ordering mine later today!
Really, I can not say enough good things about this tool. The more I use it, the more I love it. I commented before on how I'd like to see more graduations in the built-in protractor. But since then I've been using my T-plotter more with pre-printed plot sheets, so that the extra divisions are not necessary. (Although I would still not object to their inclusion for emergency use.) When used in this way, it is one of those things that makes me wonder, "Why was this not invented ages ago?" It seems so natural and obvious. I am reminded of how the can opener was not invented until 50 years after the tin can! Lol! (Consumers were initially advised to, "Cut round the top near the outer edge with a chisel and hammer." :o )
The equal length of the LOP and azimuth arms makes transferring bearings a snap. And the addition of the small tic marks along the LOP arm should make measuring small distances easier. (The dots were rather hard to see.)
All in all, I'd say an outstanding tool just got better, cementing it as my first choice for a plotter. And it's made in the good ol' U.S. of A. What more could you want? Thanks again, Peter!
Regards,
Sean C.
