| These plotters have scales that allow you to draw the axillary triangle around your cocked hat at a spacing proportional to the lengths of the sides of the cocked hat, to implement the method proposed by Herbert to determine the symmedian point, see: http://www.fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx?i=115006&y=201012 These plotters have two diagonal scales allowing two proportions, one with the spacing equal to the length of the cocked hat's side and the other scale making the spacing one-half the length of the sides of the cocked hat.
