    [NavList] Sunset 3-body fix exercise

    Dear Jeremy,

Thanks for this second exercise which I just ran, right after your previous daylight CelNav "Bullseye" Fix.

I am assuming that it holds for the same previous date of Jan 09, 2011.

From 1930 LT DR = S0713.7E07219.2, I am getting an "Celestial Fix" observed in Azimut 339° at a distance of 1.7 NM, with a standard deviation of 0.7 NM on these 3 LOP's. Given your description, I was expecting a CelFix much further off.

Given the overall environmental conditions, Jeremy, this Celnav Fix is still a quite good and solid result !

In other words, my 19h30m Celnav Fix is at S 07°12'1 / E072°18'6, which seems slightly East of Peter Hakel's subsequently published result ... but

... don't worry Peter ! ... from where I am, I can still see you very well in the distance where you think you are. :-))

BTW : Jeremy, which SEXTANT(s) are you using for all your I.O. Celnav (whether Lunars, or "plain" CelNav) ? I am just afraid Antoine already asked you this very same question earlier but ... certainly Kermit must have forgotten to write down your answer.

Best Regards, and thanks again for giving us such an opportunity for renewed dreams.

    Antoine M. "Kermit" Couëtte
