For those of you in southern New England, please feel free to come down to Stonington Point for sight practice and sextant fun this Sunday, right around Local Apparent Noon, 12:30-1:30pm. We'll be on the lawn just south of the Lighthouse Museum in Stonington, CT (see PS). Right now, the weather looks like it may not cooperate. I will post a notice on my web site (and also a quick NavList message) with a "go" or "no go" message at 10:00 am Sunday morning which should give those of you driving from some distance enough notice. Weekends are busy for me until later in July, so I cannot offer a rain date at this time.
