"It's not difficult to interpolate for a UL and LL values near the break point" Sure. You know I was just kidding around by suggesting it would be tricky around March 31/April 1, right? :-) To sum up on the Sun's semi-diameter in the Nautical Almanac: Because the NA uses a value for the SD that is 1 second of arc larger than the generally applied "correct" value, the printed value can be too large by 0.067 minutes of arc or too small by 0.033 minutes of arc (for the middle day on the page). That's all. It's nothing to worry about. -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to NavList@fer3.com To , send email to NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
