Paul, thank you again for the suggestion. For me, a watch face with four minute marks could make it easier to keep in sync with earth's rotation. One degree every four minutes. Move the hour marks within the hour hand's shorter sweep and off the outer sweep of the minute "scale". On the other hand, I like the stop watch because it just tracks raw time... Then I can convert my raw time to whatever "time frame" the scientists have implemented at the moment.
