I had read of some folks using a pressure cooker for a Faraday cage while aboard. The only problem might be the seal providing an imperfect electrical connection betwen the lid and the pot. But, there are other metal parts that do come in contact with eachother such as the Magefesa "Star" style pressure cooker that has a bar across the lid which would be in contact with the pot.

Ideally, the surrounding Faraday cage is a perfect conductor.  Thin
aluminum foil might have sufficient electrical resistance to be an
effective shield.  I believe it is also better if the Faraday cage is
externally grounded.
