    Yes, I can understand the advantage who follow various other groups all managed through google.

    Just so you have the option, using the reading and posting functions at 
    www.fer3.com/arc does not require any special reading software. It's a normal 
    web page (rather "web 1.0" in fact so you don't need any special software of 
    any sort --no java, minimal optional javascript, no flash-- all the work is 
    done server-side).
