I didn't mention previously that this has been available in English since 2002. Somehow, despite all the interest in the subject both mathematically and cross-culturally in NavList, it went unmentioned in the 17 years that I have been following messages in this community. I spotted it in a random search online and bought a copy on a lark. My gamble paid off. By the way, I thought of your earlier queries, of course, while thumbing through it when I spotted the section on the "radio" or "radar sextant". :)
