Alan, I have Starpilot on my HP NetBook, but don't use it much any more because I have the TI-89 version which makes for instant computation of students' intercepts when learning the sextant.
The PC version is really nice for visual stuff because the large (10") screen of the computer is far superior to the tiny TI's - I.e., for Starpilot's sky plots, best-fit sight graphs, lat/lon meridian passage graphs, and plotted fixes.
I had not heard of Navimatics, but will, natch, now check it out.

Does anyone here have experience using either of the above mentioned navigation programs? Comments, impressions please.
Thanks.
Alan
