NAVLIST Members :I am seeking a publisher for a book.
The book “Two Star “Chief” (“2 minute Star Finder.”)
This book will enable anyone to find named Stars or Planets in their sky, in two minutes with accuracy of five degrees or within a binocular field. The “Chief” was designed for a middle School grade or up. Other Star Finders can only give a very large approximation of sky area. The “Chief” was originally made as a training aid to teach Celestial Navigation.
The professional Navigator has a Star Finder equal to the “Chief” (2102-D, but he must use an Almanac, formula and need to attend classes in the subject. The experience Navigator will needs 15 to 20 minutes for the same results. Also computer, programs can give the same information, but are expensive and cannot teach and motivate to learn.
My Story line starts with an “Chief” ,Person, pointing to and naming Stars to the reader, The “Chief” ,Person then teacher how the reader can use the “Chief”, book, to know what major Star are in the reader Sky, how to know their name and locate them. The “Chief”, Person describes the (slide ruler) Parts of the “Chief” book, how to set them up and how to read them in terms of Bearings and Height above the reader horizon. The “Chief”, Person, teaches how to go outside in the night sky or twilight to find and observe Stars and Planets or Tracking the sun during the day.
The “Chief” Book can be use anywhere on earth by anyone, Astronomers, sky watchers, Scouts or navigators making a very large market.
    If interested contact Byron.

This may help in the developement of new persons interested in this science.
