The 60-satellite Starlink stream is spreading out steadily, but it should still be a nice show tonight. The venerable heavens-above.com site has now added predictions for the leader and the trailer in the stream on their first page. Observers in southern New England and nearby should have a good opportunity tonight starting around 9:25pm.
Navigational relevance? When there are a thousand (or later 10,000) satellites in low Earth orbit, there will be new navigation options. And also it will change the nature of life at sea. Every ship... on every ocean... will have access to streaming video all day long. You'll never escape Netflix!!
