    Dear George,

It was indeed noticable that your comments were missing on NavList. I also was wondering what might have happened to you. Thank you for shareing your problem with us. I remember your suggestions on how to estimate the refraction at the horizon as seen from high altitudes when I first stumbeled with my question on Nav-L. It was then also you who advised me later to get directly in touch with the expert, with Andy. Several years have passed since then and in the mean time we shared our thoughts also on various other subjects. It is this now the occasion to thank you for all these discussions and I hope there will be still more to come.

I wish you sufficient strength to cope with your health problem.

    Kind regards,
    Marcel

P.S: During the early 1980s, when I lived in Abingdon at Godwyn Close, we were almost neighbours. We could then have had our discussions in a local Pub.
