    Hi Tom,

    Yea but only 250-450 Khz, so pretty limited. I have only found one station still broadcasting long wave from Ireland and that works surprisringly well re bearings.(given the distance, 204 nm) BBC radio 4 does still broadcast on 198 KHz, but below my RDF range of 250. So I think I am stuck with these NDBs from local airports (short range) and it sounds from Gary that these will be short lived since no-one is using them!

    Oh well.

    Back to my beloved  sextant and Bygrave where I have most of the fun anyway! This RDF thing was a very interesting diversion!
