I did this exercise just to see if I remembered how to do it. It looks like I got the same answer as others (I assume the 39 08.9N is a typo). See attached. Btw, if you read the note at the bottom of the problem statement it states that the date is in the form DD/MM/YY so 12/05/96 is May 12, 1996. Less obvious, the note states times are in Zulu. On the other hand, they do label the time ZT, Zone Time.
