    Somewhat tangent to watches, SW transistor radios and WWV ..

    I wonder how many blue-water sailors are also radio hams, that is, had amateur radio licenses from their respective countries to have ship-to-shore or HF time pulse access aboard their boats while at sea?

    I met several hams at the recent Navigation Symposium and another at the last Modern Nav class conducted by Frank at Mystic Seaport. I'm always a little surprised though I should not be.
