Bob, I believe that you must utilize the deviation error for all magnetic courses. Without this deviation factored into your initial course headings, what you think will be the correct magnetic heading will actually be putting you on a different actual heading...........big problems! You must always factor in the deviation...... hope this helps Monte Mechler
