I don't know where you live, but if you are near NYC, New York Nautical Instrument, on West Broadway in lower Manhattan has a good inventory of used and new that you can fondle, admire, etc. There was a place in Sausalito, CA that had a few used ones, but it either moved or closed, as it wasn't where I expected the last time I was there. I believe there is a place in Annapolis. Of course Celestaire has a large inventory listed in a catalog (and a web site?). They are in Kansas IIRC, but go to boat shows and deal mostly by mail order. In any case, sextants (except the most common, like davis and Astra) are stocked by specialists, not marine stores.
