I am the owner, and user of two sextants, an aircraft bubble sextant and a Freiberger sextant. I practise a little on both, not to be an expert or as primary navigation tool, but to maintain skills for emergency navigation if the GPS breaks down. Even not participating in discussions at the list, I have with great interest followed the discussions on lunars, LOPs and theories of the cocked hat. I have no idea of how many Danes actually use sextants.
