    It was just too distracting. On one hand, I wanted to be polite and accom

    odate people who came up to me, but on the other hand, you need to focus and concentrate.
    ​On the plus side, that is something I always enjoyed about Americans - at least other people on the beach acknowledged your existence. Here in the UK, you would be studiously ignored ​and people would be sure to keep their distance lest they be associated with somebody who was obviously not quite..... normal.
