Just in case it's of interest to Nav-l readers, I copy below (without having asked permission) the text of a message which recently appeared on the "Sextants" mailing list, in response to a query. I know nothing about the sender, such as whether he runs a commercial operation. It seems likely, from his internet address, that he may be based in the UK. George. ========================= posting copied here- I have just acquired some redundant stock of sextant spares including mirrors, shades and other sextant fittings. Most of the parts look to be mid twentieth century (Hezzanith, Hughes, etc.). If you can let me have exact details of what you need, I will search through the stock & try to find what you need.
