    This is very surprising:
The sextant in the first link is definitely a Soviet-made SNO-T.
Complete with its accessories and the ugly grey box, yellow inside.
    But the certificate says "Sewell".
    What do Sewel (and/or Cassens-Plath!) have to do with a SNO-T ??

    Alex.

    Graham,

This looks to be the same sextant as a USSR SNO-T. Best luck for parts would
be on E-bay. Look for a complete horizon mirror with frame. Read up on the
Bill Morris blog for this particular sextant. There is a trick to the
collared adjustment nuts to prevent stripping and damage.
