I’m reasonably sure it is a Plath sextant…based on frame and micrometer .

    Subject: [NavList] Sextant ID

This picture of a navigation officer (Soviet-flagged ship) is from a 1985 Slovak translation of a Russian book for children written by S. Sakharnov and originally published in 1972.  Anybody can please determine what brand the sextant is?  It does not look like the SNO-T to me, which is what I thought those guys were most likely to use at the time.

    Many thanks.
