21st Century Sextant Specs: 1. Blue tooth sensors on the micrometer drum sending to a laptop with barometer, thermometer, chronometer, chart plotter, and celestial functions. 2. Carbon fiber frame. 3. Titanium arc. 4. Ergonomic adjustable grip. 5. Variable 1.5 to 6x42mm flat field nitrogen filled scope with fluxgate compass. This model would plot instantaneous LOP,s on a laptop with the press of a button on the micrometer drum. Better yet would be a blue tooth micrometer drum pick-up add on for older sextants. GPS is blue toothed why not a sextant?
