Sometimes we do not see what is right in front of us. I've printed out a bunch of USPS Sight Reduction forms and their Constant Latitude Plotting Sheet, which covers 1 degree lat x 1 degree long. It's great for doing Am and PM sun shots, or Sun/Moon Shots, essentially standing in one location, say on the beach, for sextant practice. How close do your calculated fixes come to GPS coordinates. On a good day, I have one now and then, my calculated fix will be within a couple of miles, for Am and PM sun shots or Sun and Moon shots of GPS coordinates.
Celestial Tools is handy too.
