It is buyer beware when purchasing from India but you may have no choice to buy from India if on a tight budget. Used metal sextants such as the Astra (made in China) will be your best value for the money. Be sure the mirrors and filters are good. Request additional pictures if necessary. $250 shipped should get you a good one.
If you can handle a budget of $500 to $600 then I would be patient and look for a used Tamaya Jupiter or C&P in mint condition from a local seller.
