I found this manual captivating and an essential tool for
any SNO-T owner or prospective sextant buyer. Once again, Bill wrote a masterpiece with detailed
explanations, plenty of useful tips for overhauling/repairing delicate
mechanical systems and high definition pictures with excellent lighting.
This manual is an indispensable addition to the library of any serious sextant enthousiast and the definitive work on the outstanding SNO-T instrument.

Owners or prospective buyers
of these excellent sextants who wish them to be professionally overhauled, and who get a painful constriction in the central chest area when they discover the cost, might like to know that there now exists a do-it-yourself manual covering the structure, overhaul, repair and maintenance of the instruments.
