Speaking of units, here's a line from an article on space.com last week: "Footage shows that the meteor, roughly the size of a tricycle, was moving at a speed of 13 miles per second (75,317 kph) as it traveled over southern Ontario." A tricycle?? Is that the latest SI unit? We're measuring everything in units of "tricycles" now?! Of course, this is supposed to be a nice visual way of picturing something about a meter across. I suppose a "unicycle" would be about one foot across. :-) -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ NavList message boards: www.fer3.com/arc Or post by email to: NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList+@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
