Since we have been discussing the HO 2101-D star finder, has anybody had
any experience with the Kotlaric star finder shown in Bowditch, attached?

I had seen textual references in one copy of Bowditch, don't recall which one, but never seen one "in the flesh" nor pictures thereof. What you provided via a link is an exception. Which Bowditch did this come from, and could you possibly shift the image and accompanying text, as the left side of each gets lost.

At one point I had asked people at the Naval Observatory about the Klotaric. They had no information about it, nor could they tell me where any examples might be seen or found.

Possibly one of those things as sometimes described at amazon.com, "not currently available".
