    But no; the original address that I gave, at-
    http://rstl.royalsocietypublishing.org/search ,
    was correct, giving direct access to all the historical content of
    Philosophical Transactions up to 1886, which is what will interest Navlist
    members.

    The address that Clive offered gives direct access to all Royal Society
    journals, but only to issues from 1887 and after.

    George.

    I'm passing on this news item which has just appeared on the Hastro-L
    (History of Astronomy) mailing list-

    ==============

    Royal Society journals currently free to access

    List members may be interested to note that all Royal Society journals
    (including Notes and Records) will be free to access until November 30th.

    Please see http://royalsocietypublishing.org/news for further information.

    Best wishes,

    =================

    The simplest way to access Philosophical Transactions, in which many
    Navlist members will be interested, seems to be to go straight to-

    http://rstl.royalsocietypublishing.org/search which brings up an advanced
    search page, in which you can say what you're after. It comes up as a .pdf
    page.

    All their other journals are free to access too, until 30 Nov.

    Make the most of it.

    George.
