May I recommend a little book called "The Sextant Handbook" by Bruce Bauer? I bought my copy after buying a used sextant. I think if I'd bought it first, I could have saved a significant amount of money. (I have no commercial interest in this.) and My old copy of Delorme's Phone Search shows a Robert E. White Instruments 34 Commercial Wharf Boston, MA 02110 (617)742-3045 I don't know anything about them.
