In the past, I have made some really dumb mistakes. Next time I use my mirror AH,today it's raining,I will be particularly careful to not mix upper and lower limb shots, though I really do not believe that that is the problem here. Anything is possible though,"operator error" being an ever present possibility, especially with yours truly being the "operator". For whatever it's worth, I usually take a series of shots, 5 lower limb, 5 upper limb of the sun or moon, when the moon is available and both limbs can be seen,not always the case.
